Saunature is a family-run, mobile sauna, dedicated to true wellbeing, best experienced in the wild.

Growing Saunature has been a labour of love. It started out as a humble sauna tent, and last summer we upgraded to a custom-built sauna trailer. We welcome anyone and everyone for  drop-in sessions, as well as inviting you to join us for a longer, expert-led sauna experience that delves deeper into the joy and magic of sauna for wellbeing.

Our ethos

We harnesses the power of nature, and warmth of human connection to create authentic sauna experiences that encourage deep rest and lasting wellbeing. Founder and sauna master Gerda takes inspiration from the English countryside, blended with the sauna traditions of her native Lithuania to offer experiences that are completely unique and truly special.

Our sauna

Wood-fired and welcoming, our sauna trailer was lovingly hand-built by Gerda's master craftsman husband, in traditional Lithuanian style. An external log-burner builds the temperature up by heating a hidden layer of very special jade stones inside the stove, as well as the visible sauna stones. Pour over a little water and you get a pleasant, moist heat. This gentle humidity creates an environment that's comfortable to say in for enough time to maximise the health benefits without overheating. Natural light streams through two windows, and seating at varying heights along the edges allows everyone to find their ideal temperature.
